I absolutely loved the pictures that Faith drew and explained in his presentation today. There was definitely one that stood out to me though and that was the drawing which depicted Little Red Riding Hood from “Riding the Red.” I felt that this picture was extremely powerful in representing how vulnerable the little girl was, while also still showing that she was a confident sexy woman. The wolf in between her legs capitalized on some of the more animal like men in this world who go around thinking they can take advantage of young women. Because there was blood coming from the wolf’s mouth it also represented a girl’s period in the sense that these men liked when the girls started to transfer into a woman.
If this picture was depicted in any other way the story line of “Riding the Red” would not be shown nearly as well at all. Faith captured every angle of this dilemma that sadly goes on more often than now in life.
